The recipe for August is Alleppuy Couscous. Since the temperatures in Texas have been over 100 degrees for well over 30 days in a row and are expected to break the all time record, I have been preparing very simple vegetarian foods that don’t require much cooking. It seems that I have spent more time this summer looking for flavorful foods that I can prepare without much fuss. My husband and I have always enjoyed eating couscous with various salads for both lunch and dinner. When I prepared it this time, I decided to add some mild spices of India for a new twist on an old favorite. I hope you enjoy my Alleppuy Couscous recipe!
